Camborne Sixth Form offers a range of over 40 different subjects taught by subject specialists. Students need to choose a minimum of 3 courses; either A Levels, Vocational Subjects or a combination of the two. This flexibility means there is a pathway for all students. We have a range of courses that allow you to progress to your chosen post-18 destination.
All students following an A Level pathway will complete a two year course. These courses are mainly assessed through examination but some do have coursework element. All exams happen at the end of the 2 year programme.
Entry Requirements: To study A-Levels at Camborne Sixth Form, you will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or equivalent, including English and Maths. Additionally, some subjects may require specific grades.
Level 3 Vocational Qualifications, including BTEC and Alternative Academic Qualifications (AAQs) in practical subjects like Sport, Health and Social Care, Business, and ICT. These courses are modular and contain a mix of examinations and coursework.
