Why Choose CSLA
In addition to the expert teaching they receive at the VI form academy, CSLA provides many opportunities beyond the normal curriculum through our various pathways. This ensures that students are well-equipped to apply for the most competitive universities worldwide.
Students who join CSLA opt to study a minimum of two A-Levels from English Literature, History, Religion Philosophy and Ethics, Politics, Geography, MFL or Economics alongside the Extended Project Qualification. They can then opt to combine these subjects with up to a maximum of two additional subjects available at The VI Form Academy.
The CSLA pathways
Extra-Curricular &
International Programme
CSLA students are expected to pursue extra-curricular activities that complement and enrich their experiences within the programme. In the past, this has included opportunities such as a trip to the University of Exeter’s Liberal Arts Faculty and a workshop from a University of Cambridge admissions tutor. CSLA also promotes a range of competitions and wider extracurricular activities that specifically relate to Liberal Arts subjects.
Camborne Science and International Academy has a well-deserved reputation for its outstanding International Programme, offering unique opportunities for students to engage and collaborate with other top schools on the international stage. CSLA students are encouraged to get involved with these international opportunities, particularly those relating to international conferences within Liberal Arts related subjects.
