We provide rich, meaningful experiences outside the classroom that develop critical thinking, creativity and leadership. Students take part in real-world research through our partnership with IRIS and work towards HPQ qualifications in Year 9, building skills in independent study and academic enquiry.

Opportunities like the Rotary Youth Speaks competition, BBC Young Reporters and Up for Debate strengthen public speaking, confidence and communication. In sport, our Year 9 Sports Leaders programme and support for school clubs encourage teamwork and responsibility. The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and Ten Tors challenge offer powerful opportunities for adventure, resilience and personal growth through teamwork and outdoor exploration.

In the performing arts, school productions and our partnership with the Camborne Musical Theatre Club give students the chance to express themselves, build confidence and collaborate creatively.

These experiences help create well-rounded, resilient and capable individuals—young people who succeed not only in the classroom, but in life.
