Camborne Science & International Academy riders have celebrated a series of outstanding performances at a recent inter‑school show jumping event held at Pendarves Equestrian Centre. The CSIA Red Rebels team, featuring riders Chloe M, Amber J, Grace M and Eleanor N, impressed judges and spectators alike with strong rounds across both the 95cm–1 m and 80–85 cm classes.
Individually, Eleanor N claimed first place overall, with teammate Grace M close behind in second in the 1 m section. In the 80–85 cm category it was Amber J who took first place, with Lexie R finishing narrowly in second and Isla M placing fourth.
The Red Rebels were crowned overall champions as a team, finishing just ahead of another CSIA team, the Red Barons, who also delivered a strong performance and finished in an impressive second place.
In the Tack and Turnout competition, the Red Barons took first place while the Red Rebels claimed second, showcasing not just riding ability but also excellent horsemanship and presentation.
CSIA also saw success in the Novice section, where the Red Devils — made up of Olivia J, Thomas R, Martha H, Ella B and DH — finished third as a team, with Olivia J earning an individual third‑place finish. The Red Arrows team, consisting of Thomas R, Ella B and Daisy H, secured second place in Tack and Turnout.
Principal Emma Haase said she was incredibly proud of all the riders, praising their commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship, and noting that their success reflected the hard work put in by the students and their coaches.
